Karachi: Pakistan beaten Tadjikistan 2-1 in their group A tied the Billie Jean King Cup Asia / Oceania Zone Group III on Tuesday in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In the rubber in decisive double, Ushna Suhail teamed up with Meheq Khokhar to offer a dominant victory 6-0, 6-1 against the pair Tadjik of Yakhyaeva and Sumaya Tukhtaeva, sealing the 2-1 link in favor of Pakistan.
The result stimulates the hopes of Pakistan to progress in the tournament with their next match planned against Turkmenistan on Thursday.
A team of four members represents Pakistan in the Billie Jean King Cup / Oceania which takes place in Sri Lanka.
