The debate on the budget proposed by Pakistan for the next exercise in the National Assembly was intensified on Tuesday while tensions extended between the members of the Pakistani peoples (PPP) and (Muttahida Qaumi movement).
Shazia Marri, of PPP, in his speech, was criticized for the government’s failure to announce a minimum wage for workers and called for a reasonable increase in wages of government employees.
His speech took an unexpected turn when a heated exchange broke out between the members of the PPP and the MQM, degenerating tensions in the assembly.
While Shazia stressed the importance that Karachi remained an integral part of the Sindh, Asiya Ishaq of MQM approached the members of the PPP, leading to an intervention by Asefa Bhutto, Sahar Kamran and others.

This led to a tight exchange of hard words between the two parties. Javed Hanif pointed out: “You have abandoned Karachi, and now you threaten us.”
Meanhile Shazia also condemned Israeli attacks on Iran, as well as Israel’s assault against Palestinians and the actions of India. She also praised the Iranian Parliament for expressed her gratitude to Pakistan.
She underlined the Prime Minister’s decision to send a delegation abroad, led by Bilawal Bhutto. She praised Bilawal Bhutto for having effectively represented Pakistan on the world scene, declaring: “Bilawal Bhutto fought the case of Pakistan everywhere, and its success is our success. Bilawal made us all proud.”
Shazia Marri also criticized the government for omitting to combat the increase in inflation and not to announce a minimum wage in the budget. She recognized that the PPP had increased wages but underlined the internal government divisions on the budget. It has opposed the 18% tax on solar panels, unacceptable appellant and declaring that the PPP does not support it.
Finally, she pointed out the performance of the government of the opposition, saying: “Everyone has witnessed the government of this opposition. You have contracted the most loans in history.”

Mian Khan Bugti, belonging to Pakistan Muslims League – Nawaz (PML -N) congratulated the government for allocating 250 billion rupees for the development of Balutchistan, emphasizing vital connectivity projects in the province.
Syed Amin-Uul-Haque underlined positive economic indicators, such as a reduction in inflation and growth of exchange reserves and funding. He noted that global financial institutions recognize the country’s economic resumption.
Shahida Begum has raised concerns about the inadequacy of the education and health care budget, urging the government to increase the allowances of these sectors to 4% of GDP.

Ibrar Ahmed, in his speech, said the budget as adapted to people, declaring that he describes a vision of national development.
Engineer Amir Muqam, Minister of Cashmere and Gilgit-Baltistan, underlined the relief provided to employees and the public in the budget.
Pakistan President Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, underlined the need for innovative solutions to help people and proposed tax exemptions for employees earning up to 2.2 million rupees per year.
Syed Hussain Tariq stressed the importance of supporting the agricultural sector to ensure food security of the country.
Other members have also shared their prospects on the budget. Mian Khan Bugti praised the allowance of 250 billion rupees for the development of Balutchistan, emphasizing essential connectivity projects in the province.
