Joe Mauer entered the temple of renowned baseball last year with a career that becomes rarer every MLB season when he spent everything with the Minnesota Twins.
Mauer, who is from St. Paul, Minnesota, and was the overall choice n ° 1 of the twins in 2001, played each of his 15 seasons of MLB with the organization. It was a unique MVP of the American League, struck 143 circuits, beat 0.306 and was an All-Star six times.

Todd Helton, Tony Oliva, Derek Jet, Edgar Martinez, Mariano Rivera, Alan Trammel and Chipper Jones were one of the recent inducted enthusiasts who spent time with a team all their careers. The future temple of fame like Shohei Ohtani, Bryce Harper, Justin Verlander, Mookie Betts, Max Scherzer, Manny Machado and many others will not be able to say the same thing.
The idea of having a loyalty to a team for an entire career is something that fans have debated since the advent of the free agency in sport.
Mauer told PK Press Club Digital that “meant” for him to be able to play with a team – mainly his hometown team – for his entire career.
“I grew up here in Minnesota and enracing the twins. [I] had the dream of playing in the big leagues, [and] For me, I am in the position in my year of draft [and] The twins have the first global choice and selecting me, it’s really pretty crazy and something that I am so grateful.

The icon of twins Joe Mauer “ excited ” for the American century, admits that it needs more work on the golf game
“But for me, I think that many guys would like to wear this uniform for their careers, but sometimes it’s not up to them to decide.
Mauer admitted that he had to pinch a little after being inducted at the fame of fame.
But he deplored that he was missing one thing on his almost perfect curriculum vitae: a World Series ring.
“The first thing to come to mind is that I would have loved to win a championship,” he told PK Press Club Digital. “Obviously, when I signed with Minnesota and somehow reprovisited with Minnesota, I signed there with these aspirations. It didn’t work. We have always tried, and I felt good when I signed that we had an opportunity or a chance to win, to win everything.
“It’s sport. There is only one happy team at the end of the year. You continue to try to improve and walk over the bump. I was able to play with very good teams and be part of very good teams. I think that if something was missing, that would be it. But obviously, looking back [at] The effort that myself and my teammates put, I would not change anything. “”
