- Kitchenaid’s semi-automatic espresso machine is available in two new colors
- Candy Apple is a pearly red, and Juniper is green with a satin finish
- Colors are part of a larger trend towards fun colors in the kitchen
Kitchenaid, manufacturer of some of the best espresso machines that I tested here in Techradar, gave one of its most popular models a new look for the summer. The semi-automatic espresso machine kitchenaid with burr shredder is now available in two tasty colors: the candy apple (bright red) and juniper (rich green).
The Candy Apple Machine (my favorite) has a pearly finish, while the juniper version has a satin shine.
The two new shades are part of a continuous trend far from traditional black and chrome kitchen devices. Earlier this year, Kitchenaid revealed that its official color of 2025 is a gentle yellow called butter, and since then we have seen various other brands join the effort to break from clinical style in favor of warmer shades that often inspire the natural world.
Kitchenaid has published a new version of its classic craftsman mixer in a sweet olive color called Evergreen, with a real walnut wood bowl, while Breville revealed a new look for its most sold Barista Touch coffee maker in shades of creamy white, navy blue and malignant green – all with brass accents.
Espresso without the agates
The semi-automatic espresso machine kitchenaid with Burr shredder is the brother of the KF6 and KF8 coffees fully automatic. It can not only manage the most delicate and most disorderly parts of the manufacturing of coffee to taste, but unlike the other two models, it also allows you to control as many processes as you wish.
Your coffee beans are crushed using conical stainless steel burrs (the most common type for espresso machines at home). Once it is done, you can let the machine weigh an appropriate amount of coffee for one or double blow, or choose the dose yourself.
The KitchenAid machine has a practical antistatic characteristic, which helps stop soft coffee to stick to the machine or to spread on your counter – something that I too often experienced while compiling the PK Press Club list of the best coffee makers.
The KitchenAid machine is delivered with a 58 mm portafilter with a flat base to help you even stamp, and there is a corner steam wand to help you create well textured milk.
It is available directly from Kitchenaid in the United Kingdom and the United States for $ 699.99 / £ 699.
