Hello everyone, it’s Marc on the duty of connections today, back for a few days while Johnny goes on well deserved vacation.
I looked at the painting for at least five minutes before finding anything today; There was simply nothing that seemed to go together. Well, this is not entirely true – there were several options which had two or three words, for example windy, humid and cold for the “types of time” or exactly and just for “correct”.
Finally, I tried to let my mind think a little more freely and to place dead and slam with exactly and on the right to make a group that ended up being downright.
With the finished green, I looked again and I tried to think in a sneaky way Nyt. The ship contained the word “hip” inside and the word of the word “arm”, which seemed plausible. A few seconds later, I added Rankle (“ankle”) and Lear (“ear”) and I was delighted when it became purple.
This left only two groups, including the easiest supposed yellow. I returned to this meteorological group, which were all three left on the board, and this time added Gray to make my last group. The blue, which was not resolved by me, ended up being the content of a pod, which I am not sure I have ever had.
How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below.

What is NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the many increasingly popular puns produced by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and generally very difficult.
On the positive side, you do not technically need to resolve the last, because you can respond to it by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little breathing margin.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are a lot of opportunities so that the game makes you trip with towers. For example, pay attention to homophones and other word games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free via the NYT games site on the desktop or mobile.
