Peshawar:
Five people, including two women, lost their lives, while three others were missing after a capsized boat at the popular tourist destination of Shahi Bagh in the Kalam valley of the SWAT district, local police and rescue officials announced on Sunday.
The rescue official said that seven members of a Mardan family enjoyed a boat trip on Saturday when the boat overturned in the river. The police reported that out of the seven people on board, two women were confirmed dead while a child and two others remain missing.
Local residents managed to save a child and the living boat operator. However, research operations were underway for the three victims, including a child.
