Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden was accused of negligence while her nephew was prosecuted for alleged sexual assaults and a rape that took place during a New Year’s Day in December 2024.
Marisa Watley accused the judge Armani Blackburn of sexual assault and rape in the trial brought in the county of Harris, Texas. The trial accused Harden of negligence “due to the conduct of its home security personnel after the party,” said a press release from Wigdor Law.

A lawyer was not listed for Blackburn. PK Press Club Digital contacted the Harden agency and the Clippers to comment.
Watley said that Harden’s security team had withdrawn two of his friends who had attended the party at his home with her despite “their pleads so that she is still inside”. Watley’s friends contacted her sister, Elaina, who then contacted Harden’s sister – Blackburn’s mother. The trial said that Elaina Watley was able to obtain a photo of Harden’s security, but the team members said that there was a woman at home with Blackburn, but the woman was not Marisa Watley.

The trial allegedly allegedly allegedly, if the Harden security team would have “acted in a responsible manner”, then they would have arrested the alleged rape.
“Since the day of the New Year, when I pointed out Mr. Blackburn’s rape to the police, I was perplexed by the way in which Mr. Harden’s security behaved that day – it is painful to imagine that all this could have been arrested in time,” Watley said in a statement. “I hope this complaint is pushing security employees to act generally more responsible when women are in danger.”

Watley’s lawyers said they planned to hold Blackburn and harden responsible for their alleged actions.
