The court, after hearing the arguments, extended its provisional surety and postponed the procedure until July 12.
Addressing the media after the hearing, the central secretary general of the PPP, Humayun Khan, said: “We were justified in the previous cases and we will be again. He firmly condemned the recent American attack on Iran, expressing his solidarity with the Iranian people. “PPP resists with the people of Iran. We will continue to play our role in the safeguard of the rights of the inhabitants of this province.”
He criticized PTI for his “revenge policy” and said: “We have already faced their political victimization and we will return it again. We are not afraid of these fabricated cases and will not abandon our fight for the rights of the public.”
Humayun Khan also paid tribute to PPP leaders and workers for having maintained peace despite the “brutal repression” of the provincial government during the “saving the province” demonstration. “PPP workers have always raised their voice against oppression,” he added.
