President Donald Trump has negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Iran by talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday while his team, including vice-president JD Vance, had interviews with Tehran, said a senior White House official.
The manager, providing details on the ceasefire under the guise of anonymity, said that Israel has accepted it until Iran is launching new attacks. Iran said that no other attack would be, said the official.
Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the American special envoy Steve Witkoff were involved in direct and indirect communications with Iran, said the official.
Trump said earlier on Monday than a “complete and total” ceasefire between Israel and Iran would come into force in the coming hours, a few moments after the two parties threatened new attacks.
Iran launched missiles against an American air base, making no victim after the American bombers abandoned bunker-bunker from 30,000 pounds on Iranian underground nuclear installations during the weekend.
The manager said Trump had called for interviews with Israel and Iran shortly after the American strikes.
“He managed his team on Saturday evening:” Let’s go on the phone. With the Iranians “,” said the manager. “‘Get Me Bibi. We are going to make peace”, said the manager by quoting Trump.
Trump’s team had negotiated with Iran five times in the weeks preceding the conflict, but the talks have broken down when Iran would not turn away from its request to continue to enrich uranium.
Trump announced Thursday that he would make a decision on the American appeal “within two weeks”, but on Saturday afternoon, he had ordered the United States to bomb the Iranian facilities.

Moving to join us Ally Israel in military strikes aroused a concern in his political base “Make America Great Again”, who clung to his promises to avoid foreign tangles.
A ceasefire, if he keeps himself, can calm this criticism and strengthen Trump’s representation of himself as a peacemaker.
The ceasefire emerged by a day of conversation that Trump led to the oval office. The president spoke directly to Netanyahu, who was a supporter throughout the conflict of more American military involvement.
Trump has “shown a restraint” and said he was keeping American interests at the heart of his goal, said the manager.
