Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the President of the Pakistan Peoples (PPP) party on Tuesday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and members of the high-level diplomatic delegation for what he called a “very effective” visit to the United States and Europe, has undertaken to counter the recent propaganda campaign of India and highlights Pakistan on the latest tensions New Delhi.
According to a statement published by the Prime Minister’s office, Bilawal, who directed the delegation on the Prime Minister’s directive, called on the Prime Minister of Islamabad to inform him of the outcome of the visit. The Prime Minister then organized a dinner in honor of the delegation.
The visit, covering key capitals across the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union, aimed to present Islamabad’s position on the recent conflict with India and prevent a new climbing between the two nuclear arms neighbors.

Congratulating the delegation’s efforts, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan’s position had been transmitted abroad with “clarity, composure and national spirit” and was recognized worldwide. “The delegation fought the case of Pakistan with great zeal and returned victorious,” the statement said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz particularly praised Bilawal for his leadership and diplomatic sense, adding that the delegation correctly articulated the events of the Pahalgam incident to the concerns related to the Industry Water Treaty.
The Prime Minister noted that “India’s unjustified war hysteria” had met with a solid diplomatic and strategic response. “By the grace of all-powerful Allah, the prayers of the nation and the military force of our brave armed forces, India had to pay a high price,” he said.

The Prime Minister also referred to the federal budget for the next financial year, saying that the government had made everything that relieves all the segments of the company, in particular salaried workers. He thanked all the coalition partners, including the PPP, for their cooperation in the preparation of the budget.
For the future, he expressed his confidence that with the advice and the contribution of experienced political and diplomatic figures such as those of the delegation, the government would succeed in browsing the internal and external challenges.
