Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the National Bureau (NAB) to accelerate the elimination of unanswered cases on Tuesday, while highlighting the need for effective measures to help victims of financial fraud and ensure the rapid recovery of their lost funds. He transmitted the instructions to the anti-Greffe surveillance president, LT Gen (RETD) Nazir Ahmad Butt, who called him to the Prime Minister’s office. Briefing of the Prime Minister, the President of the NAB underlined the recent achievements of the office, noting that over the past two years, the Greeft Buster has recovered billions of diverted public funds and had recovered hundreds of acres of state land illegally occupied.
