- The disclosed code suggests that Grok builds a spreading sheet tool
- The new service would allow users to work with Grok on spreadsheets
- No official confirmation, but Xai is eager to follow his rivals
Far from simply taking control of the world of social media, XAI could now build a new feature for its Grok model which would allow it to access and modify documents and files.
The disclosed code has suggested that XAI develop an advanced file editor for Grok, with a computer leaf medium taking the scene, because it seeks to expand its attraction and attract more users.
This decision could mean that users obtain more tools and features to tighten their work, but at the risk of analyzing the files (and possibly downloaded on) Grok systems, and even X itself.
Grok in your spreadsheets?
The Nima Owji reverser, who disclosed the results on X, noted that the tool will allow users to speak to Grok and ask him to help them while they modify the files.
It is not clear why only the calculation sheets are involved, instead of documents, slideshow or image creators – but the movement seems to be part of an XAI campaign to compete with much more important competitors OPENAI, Google and Microsoft – which have already integrated Smart IA co -pilots into their productivity tools.
The owner X Elon Musk was publicly clear on his objectives to transform the service into an “all application” capable of managing a large number of daily tasks.
Recently, the company launched Grok Studio, which allows users to collaborate with the service via a shared screen interface, which allows them to have help during the generation of documents, code, reports and even games.
Similar to the online collaboration platform of Google’s workspace, XAI has also revealed that users will be able to create specific workspaces to preserve and organize specific files and conversations in one place.
Google workspace users can currently contact the Gemini AI assistant of the platform when creating documents, which allows them to obtain help or suggestions on specific areas or themes, as well as additional information from other files or documents.
XAI has not commented on the flight and has not yet responded to a request for a comment from Techradar Pro.
