Pakistan, a sign of soft water on the visa exemption

Islamabad:

The 12th session of the joint ministerial commission of Pakistan-Uae (JMC), examining the entire scope of bilateral relations, agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, bank, investment and other sectors.

Held Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, the meeting was co-resigned by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Water Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Before the official procedure, a JMC working group meeting was held under the direction of the special assistant of Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa and the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh.

The joint ministerial commission has agreed to strengthen cooperation in culture, aviation, railways, energy, food security, climate change, defense, health care, labor, higher education and information technology.

The two parties emphasized the improvement of institutional mechanisms and the promotion of inter -ministerial coordination.

Keeping in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and fraternity, the session included exchanges on regional and global developments.

The two parties reaffirmed their commitment to peace and stability in the region.

A protocol, describing procedural executives for follow -up actions, coordination through sectoral working groups and the facilitation of reciprocal visits, has also been signed.

In addition to the session protocol, memorandums of understanding “the mutual exemption from entry visa requirements” and “the establishment of a joint working group to promote investments” as well as an agreement on “artificial intelligence and the digital economy” were signed.

The two parties expressed their satisfaction with the results and agreed to hold the 13th session of the JMC in Pakistan on mutually agreed dates.

The successful concession of the JMC session underlines the deep and multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and water and their shared vision of a dynamic and progressive partnership.

COPD

The second cycle of bilateral political consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (water) held in Abu Dhabi examined the spectrum of bilateral relations on Wednesday and reaffirmed their resolution to further strengthen cooperation in several sectors.

The two parties discussed the regional and global developments of mutual interest and reiterated their commitment to improve coordination and dialogue during multilateral forums.

Pakistan delegation was led by Shehryar Akbar Khan, Minister of Additional Foreign Affairs (Middle East), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the United Arab Emirates team was led by Reem Keita, Deputy Minister of Political Affairs, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.

The Minister of Additional Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of further deepening the strong fraternal links between Pakistan and water, based on shared values, mutual respect and common interests.

The two parties appreciated the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and expressed their satisfaction with the progress made by existing institutional mechanisms, in particular the joint ministerial commission (JMC) and regular exchanges at the level of managers.
