The Balutchistan assembly approved RS896,474 billion for the budget for the year 2025-26. In total, 94 requests were submitted, including 53 for non -developmental expenses and 41 for progression costs.
President (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai presided over the session of the Balutchistan assembly on Wednesday.
The room rejected 9 out of 10 requests for the cups presented by the opposition, while a movement has been removed.
The opposition chief, Younis Aziz Zehri, demanded the government who arrested the employees would be released and the provincial regime could negotiate them to solve their problem on a permanent basis.
The session also approved the Balutchistan 2025 financing bill, which was presented for the first time by Zamrak Khan Achakzai and then by the Minister of Finance Shuaib Ourhirwani.
The annual declarations of expenses approved for the years 2024-25 and 2025-2010 were also presented in the House.
Meanwhile, the Balutchistan Minister of Finance and minerals Mir Shoaib Nosherwani expressed his deep gratitude to chief Minister Mir Sarfraz BUGTI, the provincial office and all members of the Balutchistan assembly for unanimous approval of the provincial budget for exercise 2025-26.
Speaking after the budget here on Wednesday, Minister Nosherwani described him as an important stage in the trip from the province to sustainable development and public well-being.
