- The founder of the Alderon Matthew Cassels Games reports problems of supposed liquid metals on PS5
- This had been demystified before, but several Alderon game players’ Titans Chemin reported the same problems
- It comes in the middle of the accumulation to GTA 6Launch on May 26, 2026
Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6 is getting closer to a launch date set for May 26, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. However, recent rumors of the old console and its supposed material problems have slightly worried to know if the PS5 systems will survive so far.
As WCCFTECH reported, the founder of Alderon Games (an independent game developer), Matthew Cassells, stressed a recurring problem of PS5 closings of the players and the staff of the Titans Chemin Game. In particular, Cassells claims that Moore’s law is dead (via YouTube) that game accidents come from problems of overheating liquid metals.
Many players have held this suspicion on the PS5 in recent years, with suggestions that the positioning of your vertically console would have the liquid metal escapes and would leave dry spots on the APU of the console. This has been demystified, but concerns have now resurfaced, with more users now expressing frustrations about sudden console stops.
It is undoubtedly the worst moment for these reports to refuse, as GTA 6 should be launched next year. It may seem a long road to come, but it will happen on consoles earlier than what we expected, and if you have a PS5 like me, hearing these problems could leave you concerned.
GTA 6 does not come to PC (at least at launch), and should not come to the platform for a year or more. The only players in clear (if these liquid metal problems are legitimate) are the owners of Xbox, and I am not one of them. As much as I am pumped for the long -awaited title of Rockstar, it would be difficult to buy another PS5 console, in particular with recent price fluctuations.

Analysis: Just place your PS5 horizontally to be sure …
Fortunately, I have not encountered any problem with my PS5 since I bought it on launching day in 2020. I will also note that I have never placed it vertically on a unit or a television office, so if there is legitimacy for liquid metal problems, it is probably why my system was sure.
There is also an additional bonus of less accumulation of dust when it is placed horizontally, and I can testify because I barely spotted dust in my PS5. So my advice is to avoid leaving your standing console, just to be sure.
I must note that there is no guarantee that these reports of liquid metal problems are indeed exact, but I prefer to proceed with caution, just in case. We waited more than a decade for GTA 6. It was 13 years old when he is launched, and I would hate seeing my console go out on me to undoubtedly its most important phase.
GTA 6 (From today) is the most anticipated game of all time in my books, so let’s just hope that our systems did not jostle us.
