Lahore:
A flight of Emirates Airline on the way from Islamabad to Dubai temporarily entered the Indian airspace early Thursday morning due to severe weather conditions, confirmed aviation sources on Friday.
According to airport officials, the EK-715 flight, which left Islamabad around 4:30 am, met with strong precipitation near Lahore, which prompted the pilot to slightly divert the plane from his course planned for security reasons.
The plane crossed Siackot and Narowal, inadvertently entering the Indian airspace near Amritsar due to limited visibility and stormy time.
