The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, prayed for the new Islamic year to bring a message of peace and security to the Oummée.
“May Allah Almighty make the new Islamic year 1447 A year of peace and progress for Pakistan,” she said in his message at the start of the Islamic year.
She said: “I pray that the New Year Hijri brings peace, tranquility, prosperity and happiness around the world. May the new year Hijri become a source of blessing for Pakistan, the Pakistani nation and the entire Islamic world.”
She underlined: “The message of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) encourages the oppressed of each era and defies the oppressor.”
She said: “The Punjab government has made extraordinary arrangements to ensure an atmosphere of peace and security in Muharramul Haram.”
She pointed out: “Those who spread hatred and sectarianism on social networks will be treated with an iron fist.
The Punjab government has imposed a complete ban on drone coverage in gatherings and processions during Muharramul Haram, severe measures will be taken against any violation. We are aware of all the negative harmful and tactical designs of our enemy and we, as a nation, we are on each front. “”
In another message to the International Day of Deaf Aaveugles, the CM said: “Patronage and the encouragement of deaf people are a collective responsibility for government and society.”
She underlined: “The Punjab government fully believes that the rehabilitation of the special people is not a favor but their right due.
Thanks to “Himmat Card”, we provide worthy financial support for all special people, including the outcome of the deaf. By providing assistance devices to special persons, including deaf avenue, we open the way so that they participate in each social sector in a respectable manner. “”
CM Maryam Nawaz also deeply expressed the drowning of 18 family members in Swat River. She expressed her sincere sympathies and condolences to bereaved families.
