Govt denies PTI’s claims on Bushra’s health

Bukhari told The Independent that even the water provided to Bibi for ablutions had “obtained mud and sand and dirt inside, for purpose”.

In January, Khan and Bibi were sentenced to 14 and seven years in prison, respectively, in the reference of £ 190.

Responding to the article, the Punjab home service said Khan and Bibi received “legal rights” in prison “in prison.

In a press release, he described the allegations made in the British online newspaper “without foundation, politically loaded and factually incorrect”.

The Punjab’s domicile service argued that Khan and Bibi had received class A prison facilities and had access to uninterrupted electricity without any load shedding. The ministry added that they are undergoing daily medical examinations and receive full medical support.

The press release also noted that food was served in accordance with their personal preferences, while legal and family visits were authorized in accordance with legal orders. The two detainees have remained in the same cell since their arrival and have not been moved or isolated, he said.
