Angel Reese is a proud sister after seeing his brother Julian reach her own professional basketball goal.
Julian Reese, the former Maryland terraap attacker, was signed on Friday as a free agent not drafted with the Los Angeles Lakers after the two NBA recovery rounds the previous days.
The terraaps celebrated the signature with a position on their own on X, and Angel Reese jumped to congratulate his brother.

She also encouraged her little brother to take advantage of what was waiting for us.
“Opportunity,” she wrote on the post of Maryland. “Go Ju.”

The young Reese, who passes “Juju”, played four seasons in Maryland, where he collected 1,488 points during his career. He also had 1,015 rebounds, which made him one of the only two players in the history of terraaps to have 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in their careers.

“I really believe that one day Julian’s number will be suspended from the rafters,” he said, according to 247sports. “Because at the time when children have shown no loyalty, children get up and go at any time, money and that, this young man has not transferred.”
The terraaps reached Sweet Sixteen this last NCAA tournament after Reese harvested an average of 13.3 points and nine rebounds per game during its senior campaign. He obtained the honorable honorable mention All-Big Ten for the third consecutive season.

Now Reese will join the alignment of the Lakers Summer League, where he will team up with players like Bronny James and Dalton Knecht in the hope of impressing enough Los Angeles coaches to list, or at least land with their G-League team.
