Rawalpindi:
Two terrorists sponsored by India were killed and two others apprehended by the Pakistani security forces during an intelligence-based operation in the Duki district in Balutchistan, according to inter-service public relations (ISPR).
“On June 28, 2025, the security forces carried out an operation based on information in the Duki Du Balutchistan district, on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to the index, Fitna Al Hindustan. During the conduct of the operation, the own forces actually engaged the terrorists sponsored by the Indians, while two terrorists were approved.
The press release added that weapons, ammunition and explosives have been recovered from terrorists sponsored by the Indians, who had been actively involved in many terrorist activities in the region.
A disinfection operation is currently underway to clean up the area of any remaining threat.
“Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians and to reaffirm the unshakable determination of the nation to translate the perpetrators of terrorism in justice,” the statement said.
In response to the operation, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the security forces on Sunday for their rapid and successful action against the terrorist network sponsored by India.
The President and the Prime Minister both praised the elimination of two terrorists linked to the Fitna Al Hindustan group.
According to the declaration, the president said that the nation was proud of its security forces for their “professional expertise”.
The PM Shehbaz echoes this feeling. “The security forces acted as a bulwark to eradicate the country’s terrorism,” he said.
