Bhutan is entirely tilted on the crypto – not only to modernize its financial rails, but to attract global travelers of great value and build a digitally resilient economy.
At the Bhutan digital panel, co-organized by Binance, those responsible have exposed a clear vision: to take the crypto out of theory and in everyday life.

With more than 1,000 merchants on board and zero costs on the remuneration of the Binance compared to the steep charges of other providers, Bhutan hopes to build a community and experienced ecosystem that aligns with its values. DK Bank, who played a pioneer role in the first efforts to extraction from Bitcoin in Bhutan, is now a spearhead of cryptography on the ground.
“Mobile payments and QR are already raised,” said the CEO of the bank, Ugyen Tenzin. “Crypto adapts,” he added.

LIM has added that they are many other native blockchain projects in the pipeline, with digital assets officially recognized as a future growth engine.
“Crypto is not a secondary experience, it is a main industry,” said Lim.
