King Charles makes another historical decision for the monarchy

King Charles made another historic decision for the monarchy in the context of cost reduction and modernization plans.

According to a report by AFPKing Charles decided to end the use of the British monarchy of a royal train for the first time since the Victorian era in the 19th century.

The report indicates that as part of the annual finances of the royal family revealed late Monday, the king’s treasurer announced that he had approved the use of two helicopters to transport the royal household and tilt the train due to high costs.

The process to stop the nine-transpariate train will start next year, according to the monarch’s financial report.

James Chalmers, who as a guardian of the private bag is the king’s treasurer, described this decision as an example of the royal house applying a “tax discipline”.

The king had the “most beautiful farewells” offered on the train, which includes a car created specially for him in the 1980s.

“The royal train, of course, has been part of national life for many decades, loved and neat by all those involved,” said Chalmers.

“Just as so many parts of the royal house work have been modernized and adapted to reflect the world of today, the time has also come to submit the strongest farewell, while we are looking to be disciplined and approaching in our financing allowance,” he added.
