Debra Wright, the wife of a football team executive in England, was tragically killed in Spain during the weekend after a reported collision involving a jet ski and a speed boat, the team announced on Monday.
Ashton Town Football Club, which plays in division one north of the North West Counties League, published a declaration on social networks confirming the death of Wright, 47, the wife of the president of the Chris Wright team.

“Our family is in mourning at the moment sad and we are asking for time that Chris and his family and everyone and the club can start to reconcile with this tragedy. Rip Debra, Fly High Sweetheart.”
Wright was aboard a jet ski Be mounted by a friend near Playa de Los Toros, in Manilva, Malaga, around 7 p.m. when the motorcycle was hit by a speed boat, Time reported, citing local police.
She was declared dead on the scene.

Investigators told the outlet that the driver of the boat at speed would have been read “low” test for alcohol and that the individual had been detained for suspicion of manslaughter. According to Times, the person was released.
