Meghan Markle’s raspberry jam is marked by an expert’s failure.
The Duchess of Sussex, which launched Jams and spreads under its “Ame nver” lifestyle label, is described a “disappointment” by Donna Collins.
Collins, owner of Jelly Queens, told The Standard: “It is a real disappointment that Meghan sells a fruit spread, what you do when your jam fails. In the jam industry, a spread is what we call something that has not worked.”
Earlier, Collins explained: “A high -end customer might want to give the impression that their jams are handmade in a country kitchen, when they are actually made in an industrial warehouse on an sterile production chain.”
Ms. Collins added: “Her raspberry propagation is not touched by a human hand in all her production. It is made on a large scale in a huge tank and cooked quickly, pumped a pipe and tight in jars.”
