Created in 2002 and operating independently of the United Nations, the ICC is a court-based court, in the Netherlands, which pursues individuals for the most serious crimes concerning the international community.
This includes war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, etc., some media connecting this attack to the atrocities that occur in Gaza at the moment.
In his report, Cyberness Declare that the ICC was under “meticulous examination” for issuing an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
A similar feeling was reported by IsraelThis also pointed out that there is also a mandate for the former Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallat.
Israel rejects the jurisdiction of the Court and maintains that the fights in Gaza comply with international law. President Donald Trump recently sanctioned the chief prosecutor Karim Khan and three other judges because of the terms, Politico Reports.
It is not the first cyber attack of the ICC either, and Khan warned that the organization had to tighten on security, because future attacks are also likely.
