- Trump says it was the second time that AT&T has been responsible for a disturbance
- AT&T says it was the videoconferencing platform that was at fault
- We don’t know which Trump platform used-is he a zoom or a team man?
US President Donald Trump criticized AT&T on Truth Social, saying that his network failed during a major call conference with religious leaders.
“I make a large conference call with religious leaders from all over the country, and AT&T is totally unable to do their equipment properly,” the leader wrote in an online article.
Trump added that it was the second time that AT&T had caused disruption to a video, calling for improvements to the stability of the network.
Trump blame at & t for the disruption of video calls
“If the boss of AT&T, anyone could be, could get involved – it would be good,” added the president, while mentioning that “tens of thousands” of participants were also at stake.
Responding to American press secretary Karoline Leavitt on X, AT&T wrote: “We contacted the White House and we are quickly working to understand and assess the situation.”
However, in a monitoring response over the course, AT&T revealed that the problem was “caused by a problem with the conference platform, not [the AT&T] network.”
Neither AT&T nor the White House revealed who was the video conferencing supplier in this case, and Trump has not yet publicly recognized the AT&T response. There are also no details on the previous disruption associated with AT&T.
In a follow -up article, Trump “apologizes[d] For the long wait of the Faith Leaders call conference, “adding that it may have to reprogram the call using another supplier.
Techradar Pro asked At&T for more details on the incident and the results of its investigation, but the company did not immediately respond.
