Pakistan activist Tehreek-i-insaf (PTI), Sanam Javed, was released on Wednesday from Kot Lakhpat prison, two days after the High Court of Lahore ordered his release in a case registered under disorders inciting troubles and the breeding of anti-states slogans.
According to Express News, Javed was released in the presence of party workers and supporters, who showed her with rose petals while leaving prison. She returned to her later.
Javed had been placed in police custody with her husband, Professor Atiq, by police near Kot Lakhpat prison on April 27. The arrest occurred shortly after she appeared for a hearing in the court -linked court on May 9.

The activist PTI was arrested several times in the past year in relation to the demonstrations and an alleged involvement in the incidents of May 9, following the arrest of the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan.
His last arrest was made as part of a FIR registered at the Islampura police station. Police accused her of blocking a road, singing provocative slogans and encouraging disorders against the state.
The case, recorded under the FIR n ° 486, also appoints the leaders PTI Alia Hamza, Nazia Baloch and Intizar Hussain Panjotha, as well as 35 unidentified people. The FIR was deposited on February 8.
