The marshal of the chief of air Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu expressed his gratitude to the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the strong support of the Parliament to the armed forces in the face of the Indian aggression.
In a letter addressed to the speaker, the chief of air praised the role of parliamentary management in the promotion of national unity, claiming that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) values the solidarity show of the legislators.
“President Sadiq’s efforts to strengthen national cohesion in the wake of Indian hostility is commendable,” wrote Marshal Sidhu. He added that the support of the Parliament and the people gave strength to the armed forces and helped thwart the intentions of the enemy.
The chief of air has also qualified the tributes extended by the Parliament and the “unforgettable” national leaders and declared that the success of PAF is the result of divine blessings and the unity of the nation.
Sidhu reaffirmed that PAF is fully ready to defend the country’s borders and consider this duty a sacred responsibility. He also promised continuous cooperation to achieve national objectives.
His letter was in response to that sent earlier by President Sadiq, who had written to the Marshal General Syed Asim Munnir and the Chief Marshal, Sidhu, welcoming the armed forces – in particular the PAF – for their professionalism and their bravery by responding to Indian actions.
