Two years ago, Justin Thomas found himself fighting the most he ever had in his career.

He only withdrawn a few months from his second major victory – a title of PGA champion in Southern Hills. But during the 2023 season, he did not even make the Fedex Cup qualifiers, making only four top 10 in 21 events.

He missed the cup in all the major except that year – the one he did not miss, the PGA championship, he finished T65.

He has since rebounded, finishing the 14th in the ranking last year, and he enters this weekend in fifth, behind Scottie Scheffler, Rory McILroy, Sepp Straka and Russell Henley.

Majors have always been a struggle. Since he won the PGA championship, he missed seven of the 13 cups, and his other finishes have been T37, T53, T65, T8, T31 and T36.

But Thomas won the RBC inheritance in April, then followed a T2 finish in The Trist. He has five other top 10 in his season.

“I think there are many different ways to proceed, especially if you are lucky to have a long career in any sport. In golf, you have a lot of ups and downs, and it is in a way how you use them, right?” Thomas told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview.

“How you grow in good years and how you also grow in bad years and how you can learn from them. So I feel like trying to use good and evil of all my years on tour and I obviously have more than others in particular seasons. But yes, I have the impression of working on good things, and I like the way the season has disappeared.”

Thomas, who founded his own WearsSpf sunscreen, plans to be outside for the rest of summer – including fall for the action of the Ryder Cup with Black Bethpage in Long Island. So, it seemed to be an ideal moment to collaborate on Garagebeer, belonging to Travis and Jason Kelce (who has just introduced Beerbed, who is exactly what it looks like), to go out with a new sunscreen.

Thomas also suffered from melanoma, so he takes his SPF port very seriously.

“This is a unique opportunity, and I felt like I was being able to associate with them, to be outside, to spend my life on the golf course, we obviously have many opportunities to be outside. Whether just spending time or guys like them that I admire them and that I respect them and the possibilities and the image they have. To find out more.”

Thomas is currently holding an automatic offer for the Ryder Cup – two years ago, he was outside, but was selected by the captain of the time, Zach Johnson. Before that, he also has another adult abroad and a shot at the price of the Fedex Cup of $ 25 million.

Sunned Souened, Thomas refined the little things to return to the top of his game.
