Islamabad:
Pakistan and Oman discussed Thursday to strengthen bilateral maritime cooperation to accelerate the launch of a ferry service, share marine expertise and improve trade in the maritime sector.
Understanding was reached at a high -level meeting between the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and Oman’s ambassador to Pakistan, Fahad Bin Sulaiman Bin Khalaf Al Kharusi.
During the discussion, the two parties recognized the deeply rooted diplomatic, cultural and economic relations between Pakistan and Oman. The emphasis was placed on the urgent need to stimulate maritime trade and connectivity.
