“Happy July 4, United States. Excited with President Trump announcing a combat event at the UFC at the White House. I would be honored! Count me!” McGregor wrote on X.

McGregor subsequently re-ravified his post with a photo of him and Trump in the oval office.

In March, McGregor said that he would present himself to the presidency of his country of origin, Ireland.
