After the collapse of a five -story building in Lyari which killed at least 23 people, the Sindh government should launch a progressive operation to evacuate and demolish all the dangerous structures of the region.
The building, located in the Baghdadi district, collapsed early Friday morning. He housed six families and each floor contained three apartments.

Khan said temporary arrangements had been taken for victims of community centers and hotels, but most families have chosen to stay with relatives. Some people remain in shelters, where the TMC Lyari provides food and basic necessities.
The rescue operation should be completed on Sunday. The authorities have also promised to take legal action against the persons involved in illegal construction practices in the region.
Officials revealed that the collapsed building had been declared dangerous three years ago, but no measure of application of the law was taken, and the residents continued to live there despite repeated warnings.
Karachi South commissioner, Javed Khoso, said that opinions had been issued in 2022, 2023 and earlier this year.
Khoso added that out of the 107 dangerous buildings identified in the district, 21 are considered very dangerous, with 14 already released.
