The head of the ANP decreases the verdict of “shameful” seats

Peshawar:

The chief of the ANP, Aimal Wali Khan, castigated the judiciary for having canceled his previous verdict with regard to the allocation of seats reserved for the PTI of Imran Khan, declaring that the ordinance of the Supreme Court of June 28 is even more shameful than the alleged riggage which took place on February 8, 2024.

“The purchase and sale of February 8 were shameful, but the decision on the reserved seats is even more shameful,” said Aimal on Saturday.

“If you have already brought them [PTI lawmakers] In, then go ahead and also give them the reserved seats. You were not afraid when you gave them 93 MPa [in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly] Because people in uniform have managed each seat, “he said.

The ruling parties won another victory on the legal front as a constitutional bench (CB) of the SC on June 28, the judgment of July 12, 2024 of the Supreme Court, which had raised the PTI as a parliamentary party and allowed it to obtain seats reserved for the legislatures.

The order ended the possibility for the PTI to enter the Parliament. He also assigned elections to the Senate to the KP Assembly, while also constituting an existential threat to the PTI government in the KP.

The President of the ANP also rejected the Prime Minister’s committee formed for former tribal districts. He said that even the appointed president of the committee would not be acceptable.

“What were the members of Punjab knew about Pachtounes traditions?” He asked.

Aimal warned that if there was a step back on the 25th constitutional amendment, his party would go on the street. “Even after having sacrificed 18 lives, the state remains silent. It is not normal; it is a tragedy.”

He said that there will also be compromise on the 18th amendment, which, according to him, was obtained by his father, Asfandyar Wali Khan.

He deplored that helicopters who did not come for the victims of the floods arrive to transport VIPs.
