Hyderabad:
A pre-partitional structure of a residential house is quickly shaved to clean up land for the construction of a new structure. The situation takes place in the thick locality of Nahiyan Jo Pirh in downtown Taluka de Hyderabad without authorities away.
The Department of Antiquities and Archeology, however, fulfilled its responsibility by fixing an opinion on the building to stop the demolition, by referring it as a heritage structure. This opinion, affixed on July 4, did not prevent the current withdrawal activity which has already flattened a large part of the structure.
The once magnificent double floor house is spreading at around 500 square meters. It included a feeling of inheritance which is preserved and even celebrated in the civilized world. Its symmetry and proportions reflected a feeling of common balance in historical architectures.
The shaved veranda of the house was once surrounded by arched columns leading to the corridors and the bedrooms. Cobalt blue tiles at the top of the outdoor walls have always invaded people who can now easily see what is inside the building because its elevation has been much demolished. The molding works with spiral -shaped but lean -shaped pillars on composite ornaments on both sides of the front door added to the splendor of the building.
The house is located in a densely populated area accessible in narrow streets where driving a car during the day is the nightmare of the drivers. Ideally, the government should have prohibited the construction of several floors structures in such a Warrens urban rabbit. However, apathy is written.
Meanwhile, the opinion of the ministry which is in fact a letter addressed to the regional director SBCA declares: “This structure is of great architectural value and has significant historical and cultural importance”. The letter cited the rules of ownership of the Sindh cultural heritage, 2017, to stop demolition.
“It is therefore requested that the demolition currently underway on the subject conspiracy can be kindly interrupted,” reads the letter. The official also asked the SBCA to suspend whether an authorization was granted to shave the building until the Ministry’s technical committee has re -examined the case.
The house, depending on the letter, is located on the city’s investigation number 2056 in the Nahyan Jo Pirh region on Khae Road. The letter was copied for Commissioner Hyderabad Division, the deputy commissioner City Taluka and the owner of the house. The focal point of Hyderabad heritage buildings has been responsible for repairing the letter in a visible place on the property.
