The fast launcher Haris RAUF was excluded from the rest of the cricket season of the major league in 2025 (MLC) after having undergone an injury to the hamstrings of Grade during the recent match of San Francisco Unicorns against the Super Kings of Texas.
The franchise confirmed its unavailability via social media and announced a replacement for the rest of the tournament.
“We are with you, Haris. The Unicorns of San Francisco can confirm that Haris Rauf will miss the rest of the MLC2025 with an injury to the hamstrings, with the New Zealand rhythm Ben Lister to replace it, with effect immediately,” tweeted the franchise team.
RAUF, which is currently at the top of the MLC 2025 counters ranking 17 cellar cooked in eight games at a 9.08 saving rate, was a key artist for unicorns.
Meanwhile, the Pacer should also miss Pakistan’s next T20I series against Bengal Tigers later this month.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet published a declaration concerning the 31 -year injury status or the planned duration of its rehabilitation.
It is relevant to mention that the national team is expected to arrive at Bangladesh on July 16, the three-game series from July 20 at the Shere-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
The second and third T20is should be played respectively on July 22 and 24.
After the Bangladesh tour, men in green should go to the Antilles in August for a series of white balls including three ODI and three T20is.
