- Another leak from Samsung Galaxy S25 FE emerged
- The mid -range phone is set to get a better OLED screen
- We could see this handset launched in September
Until now, we have not heard of a successor to the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE which was launched in September 2024, but a new leak suggests that the next Galaxy S25 Fe could bring a fairly large display upgrade with.
According to ZDNET in South Korea (via GSMARENA), the Galaxy S25 FE obtains an improved flexible OLED screen which should inaugurate certain improvements compared to the rigid OLED display used in the Galaxy S24 FE.
Being “ flexible ” does not mean that the screen can bend, but technology allows finer screens and smaller glasses, which should transform the Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe into a phone that seems and feels more premium than the one that preceded it.
It also costs more, as you can expect – a price increase that can be transmitted to customers. As you will see from our review Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe, the price of this phone started at $ 649.99 / £ 649 / $ 1,099 at its launch.
Cameras and processors
If you are new to FE (or Fan Edition) models, they generally reshape flagship phones that exchange specifications, materials and features at a lower price. This should be the case again when the Galaxy S25 Fe will be launched.
A few months ago, we had a leak concerning the cameras on this phone, and it seems that only the selfie camera is updated at 12MP from 10MP. The 50MP + 12MP + 8MP rear camera module will be apparently the same.
It would be somewhat disappointing, but we hope that the Galaxy S25 FE obtains at least one processor bump, so it will be a little faster than its predecessor, even if the quality of the photos and videos it captures is roughly unchanged.
Before arriving at the Galaxy S25 Fe, which should land in September, we have the next unpacked event of Samsung which is happening tomorrow July 9, where we should see the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Watch 8.
