Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was seen hitting a clipboard out of the hands of one of his coaches during a defeat against the Washington mystics on Tuesday.
With less than 30 seconds to go to the match, and the two teams were 77 years old, Reese left the upset field in a dead time. When Reese went through the vice-president of the team’s strength and packaging, Ann Crosby, Reese spontaneously slapped the clipboard from the hand of Crosby while Crosby seemed to try to show Reese something on it.

The clip has collected the controversy and the criticisms of the fans when it becomes viral on social networks.
“Never lack respect for your coaches,” wrote a user.
Another user wrote: “It’s not good behavior.”
Other social media commentators have used the clip as an opportunity to compare Reese to his former university rival and the WNBA phenomenon, Caitlin Clark.
“Caitlin Clark would never do it,” a person wrote.

After the mystics took an advance of 79-77, Reese managed to equalize the game by making two free throws. But Shakira Austin from Washington replied and made the mystics in advance with a pair of his own free throws with only two seconds to play. Washington won 81-79.
The loss wasted one of the best performance of Reese of 2025 because it finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.

However, the sky fell to 5-13 and currently holds the second record of the first record of the WNBA, just in front of the 2-16 Connecticut Sun.
Meanwhile, the Clark team, Indiana fever, is 9-9. Clark has missed 10 games this season, but is expected to go back to his team on Wednesday for a match against the Golden State Valkyries.
