Terrorism sponsored by the state party of India’s policy to destabilize Pakistan: DG Ispr

India uses terrorism sponsored by the State as a policy against Pakistan, in particular in Balutchistan, said the director general of inter-service public relations (ISPR), General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Wednesday.

In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera TVThe military spokesman said that India support for terrorist activities was to destabilize the security of Pakistan, especially in the Balutchistan volatile region.

“These harmful conceptions of India are a systematic conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan, especially in Balutchistan,” he said. He added that India had admitted several times to support terrorism in Pakistan.

Lieutenant-General Chaudhry reiterated that Pakistan considers any aggression against its sovereign territory as a direct threat to regional stability.

“India’s political leadership has repeatedly admitted having supported terrorism in Pakistan,” said General Chaudhry, appointing Ajit Doval, India National Security Advisor, as a brain behind the Netle Delhi -sponsored terrorism network.

The military spokesman also referred to the recent Waziristan attack, affirmed by the proscribed TTP, which martyred 16 Pakistani soldiers and injured more than 20 others.

Pakistan has constantly argued that India is directly involved in such attacks. “India supports and finances terrorist activities in Pakistan,” reiterated General Chaudhry while speaking to Al Jazeera TV.

The term “Khawarij” has recently been widely used by the military and the media of Pakistan to refer to armed groups which attack the state and its military forces.

“The current Fitna al-Khawarij is a continuation of the erroneous ideology which has historically led to the murder of Muslims under a false religious story,” he said.

In Islam, only the state has the power to wage a holy war (jihad) or engage in the fight, and no individual, organization or group has this power, he said.

“Khawarij has nothing to do with Islam, humanity, Pakistan or Pakistani traditions,” said General Chaudhry.

DG ISPR added that the term Fitna al-Hinstan was used in Pakistan to describe the terrorists supported by India. “Fitna al-Hinstan is particularly active in the destabilization of the country, in particular in the province of Balutchistan,” he said.

He stressed that several countries, including the United States and Canada, have recognized terrorism sponsored by the state of India on their soil.

Referring to the country’s nuclear capacity, the senior army general argued that Pakistan was a responsible and declared nuclear power and that his nuclear program was completely safe. “Our nuclear capacity is invincible and no one can dare to target our nuclear program,” he added.
