Could LeBron James prosper in the NFL if he had chosen to take his talents to the grill instead of hardwood? The Los Angeles Rams Star Davante Adams Los Angeles receiver certainly thinks.
“He would have been one of the best receivers, the tight ends of all time. No question,” said Adams during a recent appearance on the “Dan Patrick Show”.
Adams cited James’ speed as one of the reasons why he would succeed in the NFL.

“He can also fly. This is the thing. He is probably one of the fastest players in the NBA of all time,” said Adams.
“I have never seen someone cover space on a basketball court. Maybe John Wall? Derrick Rose? Anyone like that, but he’s up there with everyone.”
At six new feet and 250 pounds, James is certainly the size of playing at a tight end or a wide receiver in the NFL, because it is larger than some of the best to do it.

James previously said that his comparison on the football field would have been a combination of Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski.
“Probably like a mixture between, you know, (Rob Gronkowski) or Randy Moss a little, but he is much smaller than me. He runs much faster, but he is much smaller than me,” said James during an appearance on “New Heights” in March.
The NBA All-Star at 21 times compared its construction to the temple of renown Calvin Johnson, because James said that they had “this same stature with regard to construction”.
James also mentioned Tony Gonzalez, who played university basketball before finally turning into a tight end and had an illustrious 17-year career in the NFL which ended with the temple of renowned professional football.

“Maybe Tony Gonzalez, with his size, and obviously, he also played basketball. I also liked his celebration when he used to dip the goal position,” said James.
Gonzalez was six feet five feet and 243 pounds, while Johnson was listed like six feet five feet and 237 pounds during his player career.
The Lakers star said that he had only “seriously” planned to join the NFL in 2011, during the NBA lockout.
“It was in 2011 when we had the NBA lockout and, you know, I did not know when we were going to conclude the agreement with the owners and advance our league. I thought about it a little at the time. I was still quite young, you know, to go out with you, but that is the only time I really considered,” said James.

Adams would certainly know what makes a good receiver, because the six times Pro Bowler was a wide NFL receiver during his 11 -year career.
In 164 career games, Adams has 957 career catches for 11,844 yards and 103 affected. Last season, in 14 games with the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders, Adams achieved 67 captures for 854 yards and seven affected.
Adams signed with the Rams during the offseason and gives the team one of the best duos receiver in the League alongside the star Puka Nacua.
