Seven killed, two injured while the vehicle plunges into Kurram Ravine

On Friday, at least seven people were killed and two more injured after a vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in the Kurram district.

Local authorities and residents rushed to the site to provide assistance and carry out rescue operations, reported News.

The incident occurred when the vehicle left the road in the center of Kurram and fell into a ravine. The law enforcement officers and emergency stakeholders acted quickly to reach the site and recover the victims.

The rescue efforts continued until the submission of this report and an investigation are underway.

Separately, a young man from the Talash region at Bas Dir Nagri Payeen, identified as Amjad – without Muhammad Amin – was killed in a motorcycle accident on his wedding day.

He and his family were on their way to his wedding ceremony when the accident occurred.

This recent roadcrash follows a fatal collision of traffic in the pure peshawar region in Dera Ismail Khan on Chashma Road the day before, when five people, including a woman, lost her life.

Authorities have urged motorists to show additional caution, in particular on high -speed roads at high speeds and treacherous terrains.
