John Goodman discusses the shocking injuries he suffered during the film Tom Cruise

John Goodman finally talked about the shocking injury on the set.

In March, the actor was injured during the shooting of Tom Cruise’s next film, which subjected it to an emergency surgery.

Speak with The Hollywood Reporter, Goodman said: “It was a real accident.”

“I was carrying foot, as I had been last week. I spent Tom, and my legs just went to the ground, and I came parallel to the ground and I landed on my hip,” he explained.

Adding: “I tried to get up, and when I couldn’t do that, I started to fear the worst. I didn’t know I had fractured it until we have radiographs.”

It should be mentioned that Goodman works with Tom Cruise on a titleless film, which is described as an action-adventure comedy on the most powerful man in the world.

Calling the doctor on the “brilliant” set, Goodman revealed that he had precipitated him in the London site of the Cleveland Clinic.

“So far, everything is fine. Unfortunately, I was broken for about a month there when I couldn’t do anything, and it was driving me crazy,” he added.

In particular, John Goodman noted that the film “had found other things to do” until he “returned to it”.

Tom Cruise’s unexpected project is expected to be released in October 2026.
