Islamabad:
The United Arab Emirates have assured Pakistan of its “full support” to accelerate the treatment of visas for its citizens, in particular in the field of work permits, in the context of wider efforts to improve bilateral links in security and immigration affairs.
This insurance came from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Water, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a meeting with the Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi, who is currently in the Gulf country during an official visit.
According to the application, the high-level meeting has marked a key diplomatic exchange aimed at deepening cooperation in critical fields such as security, counter-note and rationalized immigration protocols.
Minister Naqvi received a warm welcome when he arrived at the Ministry of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates, where he received an honor guard. He was officially presented to senior water officials before participating in long interviews with his counterpart and other officials.
A central objective of the discussions was the facilitation of the visa processes for Pakistani nationals, in particular those who are looking for employment possibilities.
