Nicki Minaj finally revealed why she refused an invitation to join the recording academy.
During the live show Stationhead, The 42 -year -old rapper revealed that she had been invited to join the Registration Academy – the responsible organization of Grammys – but she refused the offer.
THE Super bizarre said she had a personal reason to refuse the offer.
“At one point, the Grammys asked me to be on the board. I appreciated it,” said Nicki. “That it was a very, very, very nice gesture, but my integrity could not allow me to accept it.”
“It was before the release of Pink Friday 2,” she added.
Relving the reason to refuse the offer, Nick said: “My integrity could not allow me to sit on the board of directors of something that had absolutely no sense for me and for anyone who understands.”
“So I said no. I thought it was a bit to try. Why would I be sitting on the set if I have no Grammy? ” added the Bang Bang Hitmaker.
