Drew McIntyre will return to the ring at the main WWE event on Saturday evening when he clashes against Randy Orton more than a month after losing against Damian Priest in a steel cage match.
McIntyre showed his face last week when he interrupted a segment between Orton and Cody Rhodes.
Without afraid to say it as it is, McIntyre wondered “what happened” in Orton when the so-called “legendary killer” apparently lost the psychological war against Rhodes well before losing the match against him who would have gave him a shot in the non-summary championship of WWE against John Cena in Summerslam.

Orton had the last word that evening, but he created a match between the two superstars at the main event on Saturday evening.
“I guess we will know,” McIntyre told PK Press Club Digital when asked if Orton had lost his killer instinct. “He finally dropped me with the RKO after having run my mouth for eight consecutive minutes. But I’m honest. I’m still honest. I’m not the bad guy. You know,” heel “, as everyone likes to tell. I just tell the truth and that makes you the bad guy today.
“I said that Cody had been buttered him for months, speaking of the quality of friends, how much he respects him, bringing in Randy custody by leading to the match (Night of Champions) and the second second Randy has refined his back, his back surgically, his back that he will never come back at a given time.
“What did Cody do?” My good friend, oh my god, are you okay? I want to do this in the right way. “No! He went right after his back.
McIntyre said that “Proding” was part of the plan to get a match with him. He compared himself to John Cena and said that he was not going to sell his soul and take a “cheap” route to get a title shot.

Regarding who he wanted to face for the title, he pointed to Rhodes directly and said that he did not want to face this version of Cena.
WWE Star Drew McIntyre talks about getting under the microscope to get back in shape before returning
“Cena and Cody in Summerslam. … I already said it. I don’t want this John Cena. This John Cena is a bit B —-“, he said. “We never had a head-to-head match. It would be a huge match. I don’t want this Cena.
“I want to send him as exciting the way he was – jostling, loyalty and respect, doing things in the right way. These cheap finishes, everyone leaves the arena as:” This creepy is zero, it was a waste of money. “I want the real John Cena.
McIntyre compared his career to Rhodes and thinks that their potential match would be the one everyone wanted to see.
“And as I said to Cody, parallel careers for 20 years. We both gave a crappy hand during the day in terms of character. We both had to leave the business to meet, come back, go where we are now. I see what was important now,” he told PK Press Club Digital.

“Parallel careers, different destinations. The story will be incredible, the match will be incredible. But I want to be the one to tear the title of Cody’s hands and see the look in his face and know:` Oh shit, it is not the same Drew, and I was afraid of the old Drew. It is an advanced Drew that I cannot conclude because it is better than me. ” ”.
