Pakistan and Bahrain reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen security cooperation at a high -level meeting in Manama on Saturday between the Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi and his counterpart Bahraini, General Sheikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, according to Radio Pakistan.
The two have held detailed discussions on improving collaboration in the fight against terrorism, anti-narcotics and the fight against trafficking in human beings. The two ministers have agreed to make the Pakistan-Bahreïn joint security committee more efficient and results in the results.
General Al Khalifa appreciated the current cooperation between the two nations, noting that Bahrain greatly appreciates his security partnership with Pakistan.
Naqvi underlined the urgency of expanding joint efforts in counter-note and anti-human traffic operations, stressing that an increased collaboration in these areas is essential to meet shared challenges.
The meeting was followed by senior Bahrainian officials, notably the deputy Minister of the Interior and Head of Public Security, the Pakistan ambassador to Bahrain SAQIB RAUF and other members of diplomatic staff.
Earlier, Naqvi received a warm welcome when he arrived at Bahrain International Airport and then received an honor guard at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior, Manama Fort.
