Evan Rachel Wood confirmed that she will not appear in Magic Practical 2.
Taking her Instagram stories on Friday July 11, the 37 -year -old American actress revealed that she would not be part of the sequel to the 1998 American romantic fantastic film based on the 1995 novel Practical magic by Alice Hoffman.
Wood, who played the role of Kylie Owens in the original film, wrote: “I wondered a lot about it, so I just released it now; I was not asked to come back and be in the #practicalmagic suite. It offered my services, even if it was a scene or a line.”
She explained: “I was told that they were again rooted. I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not under my control or my choice. I would have gladly joined my sisters.”
For the Unversed, Owens was the eldest daughter of Sally Owens, played by Sandra Bullock, who ends up living with her eccentric aunts after the disappearance of her father, Michael, represented by Mark Feuerstein.
It is relevant to mention that the clarification of Evan Rachel Wood came shortly after the news that Stégard Channing and Dianne Wiest come back to play their roles of aunts at Sally Owens and Gillian Owens (Nicole Kidman) of the original film of 1998.
