In a market crowded with accessories pretending to rationalize your configuration, AV Access has announced a new competitor: the Idock B10.
The new KVM reception station is marketed as an all-in-one solution for double computer configurations, providing support for two 8K at 60 Hz monitors or ultra-elevated cooling rates up to 240 Hz.
This level of resolution may not be essential for most users, but AV access targets professionals and players concerned with performance that prioritize both speed and visual clarity.
Built to change intense ease and workloads
This device offers more than the best USB hub and even certain laptop’s home stations by combining high -speed USB expansion, video output and Ethernet connectivity with integrated KVM functionality.
The Idock B10 includes 11 ports: USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
It also offers 100 W of power, enough to load a high performance laptop during prolonged use.
Its main function allows users to control both a laptop and an office with a single keyboard, a mouse and a monitor, tilting together using a front panel button or a wired remote control.
“In the hybrid working environment today, flexibility is essential, in particular for professionals such as graphic designers, software developers and game enthusiasts,” said Bill Liao, CTO of AV Access.
At $ 224.99, with a 10%launching discount, the IDOC B10 is not cheap, but it tries to replace which would generally require several devices.
For users who need a double monitor configuration capable of moving between two computers without signal dropouts or peripheral shift, the B10 could be an interesting investment.
However, the 8K double support, equivalent to 66 million pixels, is always an extreme proposal, especially when most of the creation professionals work at best with 4K screens.
AV Access also launched a 4K version, called IDOCK M10, for MacBook users, and offers summer discounts on other models such as C10 and C20.
