The star of Indiana Fever Sophie Cunningham spoke of her personality in a team video published after having published her first double-double of the season on Friday.
After the victory of the 99-82 fever over Atlanta’s dream, in which Cunningham collected 16 points and 10 rebounds, the team published a video function on social networks with Cunningham frankly speaking of who she is.
“I bring the energy. I bring the passion. I am a little sassy,” said Cunningham.

“I’m just the ultimate competitor. I will surpass anyone, and I think it’s something I can hang on my hat and my teammates can still expect from me.”

The entry of Cunningham intervenes in the middle of his ascent to celebrity after starting to fight to defend his teammate Caitlin Clark.
During a June 17 match against Connecticut Sun, Cunningham committed a hard fault on the Solar Guard of Connecticut Jacy Sheldon.
The heated exchange of Cunningham and Sheldon turned into a thrust match before the players of the two teams intervened to break it. Cunningham, Sheldon and the Sun Guardian Lindsay Allen were ejected from the game with about 40 seconds before the victory.

Cunningham comes from a family of farmers and credits that the personal education it is today, according to a series of functionalities in five parts by the University of Missouri.
“A large part of our success dates back to what we have learned here,” said Cunningham, working on the farm. “We loved going out on the farm to help. We discovered how to work hard and work together. It made us hard.”
