In the middle of the whirlwind rumors of a brewing "change of diet" In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman threw her weight behind the idea of political change on Saturday in the province led by PTI, but with a warning that the change must come from the ruling part itself. Rejecting the concept of stolen door maneuver, Maulana said that legitimacy could not be transmitted by "boots" but must come from the will of the people. He also castigated federal and provincial governments as having "exhausted". "We do not want a government to be given to us by the boots, we want a supported by the people."
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, the head of Jui-F declared that the situation of the law and the order across the country was deteriorating quickly.
"New news always concerns a kind of troubles," He said, quoting the recent murder of an ANP politician, Maulana Khan Zeb, in Bajaur, aggravating instability in Balutchistan and disturbances in the Sindh. "We know full well that the ruling elite pays from extremist groups," He said. The head of Jui-F said that political change in KP was essential, whether it is the interior of the PTI in power or external political realignment. "My preference is change in the province. If it comes from the ruling party, it’s good too," He added. Referring to the imprisoned founder of the PTI Imran Khan, he said, "If her children come to Pakistan, I have no objection," The addition of politics involves differences, not enmity.
"We can disagree with the PML-N, the PPP or the PTI, but we always keep the door open for dialogue, even the PTI people come to speak to me," He said. The Maulana also said that the province had played full peace during the mandate of its government. "You could travel anywhere without incident. There was no police checkpoint. No terrorism. Peace has prevailed," He remembered. He also called for a conference in all parties to discuss the law and the order. Regarding the merger of tribal areas (FATA) administered by the federal government with KP, he said it was a "Bad decision" Taken under pressure and signals, and all political parties must now admit it. "Everyone joined the train, thinking that Fata fusion was a good idea. We continued to say that this was not the case. Now reverse this error is in the national interest," He advised. He expressed his frustration that, even after eight years, Fata was still lacking in basic administration. "No Patwari can even go there today. We were told that land files were compiled in the Fata – when I asked how, I was told that it was done using satellites."
The head of Jui-F pointed out that a great tribal Jirga was going to be held on Sunday, saying that his party respected such forums. "We had always wanted the decisions concerning the political future of Fata to be made with the contributions of his former tribal, and not by unilateral decisions."
He said his party was recognized as a stakeholder in the Government Committee on the FATA and that he had been invited to appoint representatives. "But how many members of the Committee are really Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or even Pachtoune?" questioned. "The province’s money is only used to appoint parliamentary secretaries and for luxury. It is a greated government, supported by extortion."
Asked about imprisoned politicians, he said that no politician should be behind bars, "But yes, politicians go to prison. However, political movements are not only to free themselves, they are carried out for large causes".
