Rawalpindi:
With the start of the new exercise, the offer and sale of previously supplied legal stamps resumed the Rawalpindi division.
However, the property registration system remains paralyzed due to the lack of official notification concerning the new tax rates and the increase in the rate of evaluation of the deputy commissioner (DC).
Despite strong pedestrian traffic in the property registration branch for 15 days, no new registration has been processed.
The government’s website for having submitted online challans has also been not functional for two weeks, bringing real estate transactions, proxy transfers and related legal processes.
The shortage of judicial stamps ended suddenly on July 1, because the provincial budget did not increase its prices.
